Every Thanksgiving Eve, we provide hot showers, haircuts, manicures + glam service, a full wardrobe "shopping" experience, a Thanksgiving dinner with open bar, bingo and live entertaintment for our unhoused friends in the O4W neighborhood.
 
What started off as small initiative with our staff that served almost a hundred people our first year has now grown to a 300+ community affair.
 
Although this Hug The Block event is just one day, the continuous give-back that Misfit Love Mafia provides in the Old Fourth Ward is a year-round engagement. From hot home-cooked food and coffee at the daily Community Table to blanket + sock drives, Misfit Love Mafia's presence in the community is so warmly appreciated and impactful. Nonetheless, their efforts require help from our neighbors and everyone in our circles.
