MAP: WHERE TO DO KARAOKE AROUND METRO ATLANTA
Karaoke at Old Fourth Ward’s Our Bar started out as a way to “provide feel-good vibes” during the height of the pandemic soon after the bar’s opening, said co-owner Sarah Oak Kim.
"Our Bar ATL is hard to explain. People often describe us as a community center or a safe space, and we can’t help but agree. I personally take the most pride in this identity – what we are known for and “specialize” in...if you’re new to our bar or even to Atlanta, you only need to know one thing: just come as you are."
"Throughout those first few weeks of the pandemic, the Edgewood Avenue bar owners fed and collected goods for their unhoused neighbors, hosted pop-up kitchens for out-of-work chefs, and allowed creatives to use the space, from bands needing places to practice to vendors selling clothing and art."
"This Edgewood Avenue bar is open for late night drinks, dancing, and food. There’s a rotating list of pop-ups in the kitchen here serving everything from wings and egg rolls to po’boys, birria tacos, and breakfast for dinner."
